Zhong Yi Optics 20mm F/2 4x-4.5x Super Macro Lens for Nikon F mount

I purchased this lens new almost 4 years ago from B&H Photo in New York. I intended to get into high magnification macro work but never did except for some curiosity photos such as the 5mm-long dog tick shown in the last three photos. The latter were taken at 4X magnification at f/16 on a Nikon D300 (DX format) camera. With the lens at f/16 there is significant softness from diffraction. This lens would be much better used at about f/8 with images photo-stacked, where excellent sharpness can be achieved. I'm not interested in getting into that effort thus this sale. The lens is in like-new condition with its original box, instructions, and both lens caps. Its 3-bladed manual diaphragm operates smoothly and the optics have no dust, haze or fungus. It has been kept in a low-humidity (less than 30%) case.
