Vintage Redware Black Cat Bookend Japan
There is one place on the book's spine where it appears a bubble in the redware popped during firing and made a small hole.  Green felt on bottom is loose.
This is just the one bookend.  The mate apparently was broken in years past. Can still be used as a single bookend or as just a figurine.
Measures appx 6" tall
