Vintage Hess Truck Sliding Door Oil Cans 1976

Offered for sale is a vintage Hess truck that has been in my family for at least since I was a kid in the 80's.  I am not sure which year and the year is not marked on it.  It and the box are in as is condition.  I have had it stored for years on a top shelf in a finished basement room so the box has heavy foxing and might be slightly musty. Some water marks.  The truck is in decent condition but only has two barrels.  I tried to move the light switch but it is stuck and I did not take apart to check the batteries.  If you lift the back, the wires spread out connecting the cab and the back of the truck. I was informed by a shopper about the switch, "
the stuck switch, which is pretty common in all the years as they used a little brass contact in the switch that would become pitted and thus "freeze" the switch."  I found the battery compartment and there is some corrosion.  The compartment is within the sliding doors and the yellow interior opens up.
