Vintage 1966 Hess Voyager Toy Tanker Ship Truck in Original Box - 1 Light Works

For your consideration today is an excellent 1966 Hess Voyager Tanker Ship in Original Box for sale.
Overall the ship is in great condition. There are no missing pieces on the ship - all pieces are included, intact, and original including the pesky smaller pieces like the rudder, propeller, and flag. The decals are in pretty great shape overall, with the HESS decal on the port side towards the bow chipped in the top corner and missing the HESS VOYAGER lettering. The other decals are in very nice shape. The four flathead screws are starting to tarnish, most severely the screw at the stern. Besides these small issues, the ship is in great shape especially considering its age and rarity! The wheels on the bottom roll freely. The chrome battery holder is still intact and included. The battery compartment is free of any corrosion, and the green bulb on the starboard side shines brightly. I was unable to get the other bulbs to light at this time.
The original box is included in this auction in phenomenal shape. There is some light discoloration towards the bottom of the blue box bottom, but this is fairly common as this part of the box is exposed to the elements. There are no rips, tears, or stains on either the box top or bottom. All of the edges and corners are crisp. This really is one of the nicest Voyager boxes I’ve seen in quite some time!
