    Up for sale is absolutely stunning custom modified lens -
    SOM Berthiot Cinor 55mm f1.5
    .
    This version of Berthiot is vintage and extremely rare version of Cinor type of lenses. In fact you will be struggling to find any information about it in all of the internet - this is how rare it is! This lens is going to be true gem in any collection of the manual lenses enthusiast, as well as serious collector!
    This lens was professionally CLA'd and mounted to focusing helicoid, so it might be used on any modern mirrorless and rangefinder cameras, with EFV focusing, as the lens is not rangefinder coupled. The lens has M39 LTM screw mount.
    The lens is not fully covering FF sensor, leaving
    noticeable black corners. However, the lens shows fantastic sharpness and resolution in the centre of the image and great contrast! But the main story about this lens is it's rendering and bokeh, which shows the best from the world of superior cinema lenses as Kino Plasmat, Dallmeyer and Angenieux. This lens will work fantastic for portrait and bokeh shooting!
    Now lets talk about the condition of this lens. The lens is basically in amazing shape. The lens body is showing some usage marks, which is normal for the used lenses. The lens glasses are in superb condition (apart of some coating damage inside of the lens, which is visible only at certain angle and not affecting the picture quality at all - please check the attached samples, made with this lens and Sony A7II camera without PP) and has no issues I ned to mention. Overall this lens looks absolutely beautiful.
