Pentax SMC Pentax-A Macro 50mm f2.8 K-Mount...(1984-1988)
All functions work properly. Focus smooth.
Cosmetics are decent but there is paint flaked off on depth of field ring. It is a visual thing only and has no bearing on the operations of an otherwise excellent lens. Their are no scratches, dings or any signs of abuse.
Glass is clear with no fog, scratches or fungus. There is minor dust that has no effect on pictures.
The SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 was the first Pentax macro lens to offer a fast aperture of F2.8. This lens supports auto metering and offers 1:2 (half life-size) reproduction.
The front element is sufficiently recessed that no lens hood is needed.
Pentax front front cap and standard rear cap.
Includes a dark brown hard case in great condition.
