Selling my Nikon 300mm 2.8 VR lens. This lens will work on all Nikon F mount and DX mount, Nikon camera bodies. This lens has Nikon's Nano-crystal coating technology that serves as a better anit-reflection coating, as well as Nikon's Extra-Low Dispersion Glass which helps to reduce the secondary green-magenta color fringing. Vibration Reduction for superior image stabilization. Focus recall for quick focusing switching between multiple subjects, as well as many other functions built into this beast of a lens! Glass is in perfect order with no scratches or fungus. Comes with an RSS mount, Camouflage lens coat, original Nikon carrying case, 52mm Nikon filter for UV. Lens has some visible blemishes to the body paint on the edges where use of the lens has started to show, but does not effect the operation at all, it's just where the finish as worn down from use. This lens is always stored and transported in its Nikon transport case. It's stored when not in use, inside my climate controlled home office.
This is a Prime 2.8 lens, I mainly use for Motorsports racing. The images are absolutely stunning with every single shot. I have owned this lens since it was new. I greatly enjoyed it for racing photography as well as landscape photography. It's great for wildlife as well as birding or anything that you can use that incredible 2.8 aperture for.
This lens has some seriously beautiful bokeh.
You won't find a Nikkor 300mm 2.8 VR in better shape at this price. I am only selling this lens to pay for some unexpected medical bills.
