Nikon AF-S 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens - USA MODEL! EXCELLENT! PRICED TO SELL!
It’s extremely difficult to part ways with this lens but like many others, I’m switching camera systems- giving up this lens is the only thing that makes me sad about the switch!
I am the original owner, having the bought the lens brand new from Robert’s Carmera. I’m just a hobbyist, who’s not yet retired, so the lens has really not seen significant use in the time I’ve had it. I’ve cared for it like a baby and the few times I’ve shot in inclement weather, I always used a Lens Coat Raincoat. The lens has always had a Lens Coat neoprene cover on it (most recently, a great version from Roland Pro).
I’m calling it “Excellent” but I probably could’ve titled it in “Mint” condition. The glass is perfect with no haze, fungus or dust and the exterior is very clean.
Comes with everything that would be included if purchased new. Also including: an upgraded Really Right Stuff replacement foot (plus the original Nikon foot), Roland Pro protective cover (similar to Lens Coat but better, in my opinion).
There seems to be a decent amount of these up for sale but it seems the sellers are trying to recoup much of their initial investment. I’m not looking to do that; I simply want an honest sale to someone who will enjoy and appreciate it. I am asking ,999.00 and I will pay shipping! I don’t have many ratings, as I don’t sell much on eBay, but you’ll see they are all positive. And they are for pricey photography equipment that I’ve sold, so hopefully that will provide some comfort. And of course, eBay has great buyer (and seller) protections.
