    DETAILS OF ITEM
    This is a rare new old stock (NOS) Japanese life-size porcelain cat statue that measures 11.25 inches tall. It was made in the Satsuma pottery region of Japan. All of its Arabesque with flower decorations were hand painted. The condition is excellent and its age is from the 1960's.
    It was made in Japan by the famous Takahashi Company of San Francisco purveyors of fine Japanese ceramics and porcelains.  The original company gold seal remains intact (see photo).
