The Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 80 mm  f/ 2.8  is  a portrait fast lens for the medium format SLR Pentacon Six cameras.
The picture is flexible with nice Bokeh. As a result, we've got an inexpensive portrait lens of quality which can be easily mounted on DSLR cameras by means of an adapter.
The Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 80mm 2.8 was introduced by the East German Carl Zeiss Jena company in 1953. It is a early version of a telephoto portraiture lens. At f2.8 it does offer a unique bokeh. These lenses have become very collectible in recent years and the prices tend to go up for a mint version.

Body is in good condition. Front and eear optical element are clean from scratches. There is no dust, no haze or fungus inside. Aperture blades are clean of oil. The aperture moves nicely at every aperture position. The aperture-control ring turns smoothly and accurate.

. The focusing ring turns smoothly and precise.
