Selling the Canon RF 15-35mm f2.8 IS USM zoom lens. It has silent ultra sonic autofocus. This lens is one of the most phenomenal wide lenses Canon ever built and we have worked with. It has a huge field of view (15mm). I tell you, the image quality it produces is astonishing. Super sharp and it produces really unusual looking footage. It is the perfect lens for architectural and landscape videography and photography and will set apart your photos and videos from everyone else.
We used this amazing lens for a few commercial films that we shot on RED cameras. Our client was blown away by the footage we shot with this lens.
The lens is weather sealed and has an amazing image stabilization (IS) that is especially handy for videography since the images it produces are super smooth especially if you shooting run & gun style.
The lens is a must have for your lens kit for your RED Komodo since the Komodo has a built in RF mount. But what makes this lens even more versatile is the programable front ring. You heard right. There is a third ring (after the focus and zoom ring) at the front of the lens that can be programmed to adjust shutter, aperture, ISO and many more functions, especially on the RED Komodo.
Condition
The lens is in mint condition, the glass is mint, we really took care of it. It was always protected by a UV filter and I encourage you to do the same. Not dust or fungus inside. The external enclosure might have some micro scratches that don't effect the lens at all. The zoom and focus rings are smooth and work as expected. Reg. the white mark on the rear cap: I did this so that in a heated shooting situation you can find quickly the right way to put the rear cap back on the lens when lens swapping. Thank me later :)
Quick pro tip:
There is a rear element in the lens that moves when you shake the lens. That is the Image Stabilization lens element. So, before you power down your camera turn off the IS on the lens so that the rear element can be "parked" and stays in place when removing the lens from the camera.

Why I'm selling
We used this lens for a specific project for a client and it was cheaper to buy the lens than rent it. At the moment I'd rather have someone use and take advantage of this lens than it being sitting around at our facilities.
