. This lens is quite magical! It has an extremely small, lightweight body with a true optically-stabilized 4x zoom range that provides a very high-quality picture. No other Sony E mount lens provides the quality & range in such a small, lightweight package. For me, this was my only lens since it was so
versatile
. I took it on trips and used it for almost anything. In fact,
to see many, many examples of this exact lens in use with my Sony A6300, view any of my other auctions!
I've used this combination exclusively for my eBay auctions!
The unit
WORKS GREAT
! As mentioned above, I use this lens for all of my photography. I have not encountered any issues. The focus and zoom rings are accurate and turn nicely. The lens has nice resistance and stays in place no matter if the lens is completely vertical up/down. Auto focus works quickly and stabilization is flawless.
The unit is in
EXCELLENT CONDITION
. The lens was always used with the included Kenko Pro1 Digital Protector filter which has kept the glass free of scratches since purchase. As my only lens, it was always mounted to my camera, never giving scratches an opportunity to form on the mount side either. The only real issue of "concern" are a countable number of dust particles that made it between elements; however, I've never seen them appear in photos I've taken. In addition, the S/N sticker for the lens, which wasn't attached very well from the factory, fell off ages ago and was lost. Finally, there is some dust and dirt in some of the grooves of the lens like between the ridges of the focus/zoom grip. The lens was babied and it shows!
