These miniature Black Walnut shell slices are just a beautiful as the full-sized ones with all the rich brown colors of nature. And although they are harder to make, they are worth the effort because they are so adorable!
Each tiny slice highlights the colors and artistry of nature with distinct patterns, shapes, and sizes. However, they are much more labor intensive to make because these diminutive nuts still have to be hand-gathered, the hulls removed, washed, and dried for 2 weeks before being sliced. But, due to the small size, each nut produces fewer usable slices.
All the slices are cut from 100% organic nuts with no sprays or chemicals used on the trees.

Each slice is less than 1 ¼ inch, most are about the size of a quarter

Cut approximately 1/8 inch thick, but thickness will vary
We have about 100 black walnut trees at my home.
The nuts are 100% organic with no sprays or chemicals used on the trees.
The nuts are hand gathered and harvested by myself. They have been hulled, washed, dried for two weeks in the sun. Then each nut is individually sliced by hand -
so every slice is unique and one of a kind!
